Please secure your accommodations with a deposit by October 1, 2026 and remember that your wedding RSVP and travel reservation are two separate steps. Be sure to complete both. Our wedding weekend is Thursday, April 15 – Sunday, April 18, 2027, with the wedding taking place on Saturday, April 17. We’ll be arriving on Wednesday, April 14 to get the celebration started, and you’re welcome to join us early or extend your stay and enjoy a little more of Costa Rica!

Please fly into Guanacaste Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR). LIR is approximately 1½ hours from Tamarindo. Avoid San José (SJO) unless you want a 5-hour scenic drive.

RESERVE YOUR TRANSFERS BEFORE YOU FLY Guests are responsible for arranging round-trip transportation between LIR Airport and their accommodations. Airport transfers may be reserved through our Travel Portal, and Felicia is available to assist if needed. We strongly recommend arranging your airport transportation in advance.

We’ve selected three Tamarindo hotels for our guests: Wyndham Tamarindo, Jardín del Edén Boutique Hotel, and The Coast Beachfront Hotel. Each offers a different experience and price point, so you can choose the stay that works best for you.

We highly recommend protecting your travel investment. You may add travel protection via the travel portal. Before purchasing an independent policy, check with your credit card company—many premium cards automatically include complimentary travel protection and trip cancellation insurance if you use them to book your flights and lodging.

Yes. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months before and after your travel dates. Check your expiration date now and renew early if needed!

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at a stunning private villa located in Tamarindo, within the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica. A shuttle will be provided to and from the villa on the wedding day.

No. We recommend using our Booking Link for convenient booking and flexible payment options, but you’re welcome to make your own travel arrangements. Please note that rates may vary when booking independently, and flexible payment options may not be available. If you book outside the portal, please share your hotel information with us so we can coordinate wedding-day transportation.

Our wedding weekend is an adults-only event. The only children in attendance are the couple's immediate nieces and nephews. We appreciate your understanding!

April is one of the absolute best times to visit Guanacaste, but its HOT! It marks the end of the dry season, meaning you can expect beautiful, predictable weather: plenty of sunshine, blue skies, and zero rain. Temperatures usually hover around 85–90°F during the day and drop to a comfortable 75°F in the evening with a nice ocean breeze.

It's extremely walkable and easy to get around. The town itself is small but full of restaurants and bars, so you can just walk about anywhere. It's also super easy to get an Uber or you may rent a car using the travel portal.

Credit Cards: Widely accepted, but check if your card charges a 3% foreign transaction fee. If it does, consider grabbing a no-fee travel card before the trip. Cash & Tipping: Bring crisp, un-ripped US dollars ($1, $5, $10, and $20 bills only—large bills aren't accepted). Cash is highly recommended for tipping drivers, chefs, hotel bellmen, tour guides, and small beach vendors. ATMs: You can pull local cash (Colones) from local bank ATMs if needed. Call your bank before leaving to clear your debit card for international use.

The Welcome Party: Coastal Casual. Think effortless resort wear: linen shirts, summer dresses, chic sandals, or boat shoes. Relaxed but put-together (no swimwear or graphic tees). The Ceremony & Reception: Tropical Formal. Elegant resort-wear fabrics, and lightweight formal attire. For immediate urgent care in Tamarindo, Guanacaste Medical Center is roughly a 2 min golf cart drive or a 5 min walk: Located in downtown Tamarindo (in front of the Tamarindo Diria Hotel). It operates 24/7 for medical emergencies, minor surgeries, and diagnostics. Emergency 2000: Located 150 meters west of the Post Office in Tamarindo, providing general practice, diagnostics, and urgent care.
